In addition to its membership platform, the IRF actively collaborates with a diverse array of key organizations and sector partnerships to enhance its impact in the road and mobility sectors. Notable partners include SuM4All, which focuses on sustainable mobility; the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile), which champions road safety; and the UNRSC (United Nations Road Safety Collaboration), dedicated to promoting road safety globally.

Furthermore, IRF works with organizations such as iRAP (International Road Assessment Programme), which assesses road safety; UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) and ITF (International Transport Forum), which address transport challenges; and regional organizations like the BSEC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation) and African Union.

IRF also partners with institutions like the World Bank (WB) and UNECA (United Nations Economic Commission for Africa) to drive development initiatives. Other collaborations include IRU (International Road Transport Union), PIARC (World Road Association), and TRB (Transportation Research Board), as well as initiatives like BRITA, ASECAP, ERTICO, ERF, EIT, and the European Startup Prize for Mobility, all aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing the efficiency of road networks.
