43nd Annual Southern African Transport Conference 2025

The International Road Federation (IRF) is pleased to support – together with the South African Department of Transport – the 43nd Annual Southern African Transport Conference (SATC 2025) to be hosted on 7-10 July 2025 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, South Africa.
The 2025 conference theme is “Mobility Solutions to Southern African Challenges”. It will engage all stakeholders involved in the transport sector on how to provide optimum, effective, and efficient transport solutions to improve service delivery to better respond as a sector, to the needs of all users of our transport systems. The conference provides a platform for national and interna- tional dialogues on transport as an enabler of socio-economic development. It also serves as a forum for discussion and information exchange on the implementation of transport policy, strategy and technology applications for all aspects and modes of transport.
Better cooperation between and engagement of all public and private sector stakeholders will be one of the key issues that will be debated and for which solutions will be sought and action plans formulated. Over the years, the conference has remained a credible source of reference material for both policy and practice.
