ASECAP DAYS 2025

From 26 to 28 May, IRF will be in Madrid for the 52nd edition of ASECAP Days – a key meeting point for the toll road and motorway community in Europe.

This year’s theme, “Challenges of Future Mobility | The Role of Road Infrastructure,” puts the spotlight on the shift towards greener and safer mobility. The agenda will explore how to support this transition through investment in electric vehicle-ready infrastructure, sustainable financing models, and alignment with EU objectives like the Green Deal and Fit for 55.

IRF Acting Director General Gonzalo Alcaraz and IRF President Dimitris Mandalozis will be attending, contributing to the conversations on how road infrastructure can help deliver inclusive, safe, and climate-friendly mobility across Europe and beyond.

IRF President Dimitrios Mandalozis will deliver the opening remarks, setting the stage for the event’s discussions on the transition towards safe, inclusive and sustainable mobility.

15:30 – 16:30 | Parallel Session 1 – Digital Twin-Based Maintenance and Monitoring for Road Infrastructure Solutions
Mr. Mandalozis will present a holistic approach to integrated asset management through the Motorway Management Service System (MMSS), highlighting the potential of digital tools in improving road operation and maintenance.

17:00 – 18:00 | Parallel Session 2 – Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM): Deployment and Use Cases
